Adaptive Construction was founded by Nick Dasta. Nick has been involved with construction and handyman work since he was a teenager. Nick’s father owned a construction company. Nick’s grandfather was involved in construction. Throughout high school and college, Nick worked with his father on many projects. You could say that Nick had a knack for construction. He loved tinkering with tools and loved to fix things.
Nick didn’t pursue a career in construction after graduation. Instead, he wanted to give chiropractic a shot, so he attended Life University. Nick graduated and worked as a chiropractor for a few years. He was a successful chiropractor, but something just didn’t feel right for Nick. The office just wasn’t the right setting for him. Being confined to a small space just wasn’t something that he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He missed the rigors of blue collar construction work.
Nick started doing small construction jobs again on the side. One of Nick’s friends who was a property manager needed some work done to the houses that he managed. Seeing the opportunity, Nick jumped all over it. Nick told his friends about his side gig, and they started asking him for to do small home repairs. His friends were impressed by Nick’s work and started referring his services. By the end of 2008, Nick had enough jobs to allow him to do this full time. His working area became his customers’ homes.
Today, Adaptive Construction employs a crew of five people and serves the cities in Cobb County, Georgia such as Marietta, Smyrna, and Kennesaw but will also serve Alpharetta, Duluth, John’s Creek, Midtown Atlanta, Buckhead, and Vinings. Adaptive Construction pretty much serves the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area above I-20.
